Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolPatrick Nouvion is a seasoned software engineer with roughly two decades of experience and over a decade focused on front-end architecture and leadership at Amazon, where he built the AWS Proton console from scratch and later managed a 16-person team across control plane, data plane, SDK, and console. He excels at turning ambiguous requirements into production-grade UIs using React, TypeScript, and robust tooling, having led major migrations (Prime Video AngularJS→React) and created company-wide component libraries and quality gates. Comfortable both as an individual contributor and manager, he has a track record of mentoring engineers, running hiring programs, and driving promotions while maintaining high engineering standards. Recently he’s applied his skills to robotics HMIs and early-stage AI/stealth startups, balancing focused small-team execution with selective contracting through YokaiLabs. An operator at heart, he pairs pragmatic implementation—CI/CD, multi-region infra, automated quality checks—with a knack for raising frontend maturity inside backend-heavy organizations.
