Senior🎓
Top SchoolPatrick Van Broeckhuijsen is an application and embedded software engineer with eight years of experience building practical, product-focused solutions across mechatronics, web, and industrial domains. Based in Eindhoven, he combines hands-on embedded development at WolkyTolky with entrepreneurial ventures—co-running Van Broeckhuijsen V.O.F. (oil separators and pickling solutions) and Antrum Technologies (smart home and automation). His background in mechatronics and systems & control informs a pragmatic approach to integrating hardware, firmware, and web interfaces, and he has moved between roles in engineering, project management, and HR leadership. Patrick is drawn to projects that translate technology into real-world value and often blends manufacturing know-how with software to optimize processes for customers. Outside the primary job he still ships web apps and industrial tooling, showing a rare continuity of maker mindset alongside professional engineering.
