Top SchoolPatrik Piskay is a Senior Software Engineer II based in London with 11 years of experience building performant, maintainable front-end applications and native Electron clients. He specializes in JavaScript, React, Redux, TypeScript, Next.js and Node.js, and has a strong track record of improving load performance, introducing code-splitting, and raising test coverage from zero to production-ready levels. Patrik blends hands-on engineering with mentorship and process improvements—setting up tooling, linters, CI practices and dependency controls to guarantee consistent builds and fewer bugs. At Parsable he open-sourced a React library and led efforts that kept his team’s bug count among the lowest across the company while delivering major features like a BPMN workflow builder and a Windows native app. He currently contributes to Confluent’s frontend platform, bringing a pragmatic emphasis on quality, user experience and sustainable velocity. His academic background in information systems management complements a practical focus on shipping reliable, user-focused interfaces at scale.
