Top SchoolPaul Gabriel is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer based in Paris with 11 years of experience building and stabilizing production systems across startups and agencies. Currently at 37signals and freelancing in parallel, he brings practical DevOps discipline—he jokes that he treats servers like kettles—to ensure predictable, efficient operations. His background includes hands-on SRE and chaos engineering roles at Lydia and Publicis Sapient and a multi-year DevOps stint at Mention, giving him deep experience in incident reduction and resilient architectures. He also led the tech arm of Data for Good and now serves on its board, blending technical leadership with civic-minded data initiatives. Comfortable across cloud-native tooling and operational playbooks, he favors pragmatic automation over overengineering. Fluent in both French and international startup cultures, he excels at turning complex reliability challenges into simple, repeatable practices.
