Top SchoolPaul Mcgougan is a Senior Software Engineer with 14+ years designing and shipping mission-critical embedded and server-based systems, currently driving the next generation lasertag platform at Laserforce International while running his own embedded software consultancy. He combines deep hands-on expertise in C/C++, microcontrollers, RTOS, Linux/µClinux, hardware–software interfaces and communications protocols with full lifecycle delivery from concept through manufacturing. Paul has led engineering teams and delivered high-reliability products for clients including Telstra, Optus and Boeing Defence Australia, and has practical experience in OS-level work and hardware sensor design from his time at Topcon.
