Top SchoolPaul Van Hoesen is a seasoned capital formation and compliance leader with a diverse 30+ year career bridging military cryptography, large-scale K–12 networking, healthcare innovation, and commercial real estate development. A co-founder and former CTO of Education Networks of America, he helped pioneer statewide K–12 Internet networks and large-scale content filtering, then translated that systems thinking into rural economic development, patient engagement R&D, and startup mentoring. He has a demonstrated track record structuring deals, entitling land, and organizing investor workflows while advising multiple mission-driven startups in health, learning science, and recovery. Paul’s background combines technical engineering chops from early data communications work with deep operational experience in capital formation and values-driven leadership rooted in long-term community impact. An unusual thread through his career is sustained hands-on involvement in both grassroots ministry and commercial ventures, giving him a pragmatic, people-centered approach to building durable organizations.
