Top SchoolPavel Vlasov is a Staff Software Engineer with 12 years’ experience building scalable web and serverless developer tooling across startups and large product teams. Currently at Canva and as co-founder of Serverless IDE, he blends hands-on engineering with product sensibility to ship developer-focused platforms and automation at scale. He has a track record founding and scaling engineering efforts at Tactiq and Bluecore, contributing to architecture, developer experience, and intelligent features using GPT-3. A strong advocate for teams and serverless architectures, Pavel mentors engineers, leads technical decision processes, and runs community initiatives. Based in the Greater Sydney area, he pairs deep frontend and backend expertise (JS/TS, React, Node, GraphQL, AWS) with an entrepreneurial knack for turning tooling ideas into production-ready products. An interesting quirk: his career mixes enterprise-grade architecture work with shipping developer-facing startups, bridging product velocity and long-term platform thinking.
