Technical Founder at FightKit

Summary
🤩
RockstarPawel Decowski is a seasoned software engineer and founder based in London with over two decades of experience building scalable web applications, SaaS products, and high-throughput analytics platforms. He blends hands-on full‑stack development (notably Python, Django, Vue) with architecture, DevOps and technical leadership, having led teams at Piclo and acted as CTO and founder at multiple ventures. Comfortable in startup and enterprise contexts, he has repeatedly delivered under tight deadlines and improved systems through pragmatic infrastructure changes like DB replication, queueing and migrations to more suitable datastores. A long-time freelancer since his teens, Pawel brings a rare mix of product intuition and low-level operational chops from projects that ranged from e-commerce and reconciliation tools to real-time analytics. He also contributes to open-source front-end tooling—improving UX and validation in projects such as a jQuery credit-card validator—and runs a new SaaS, FightKit. Outside tech he’s a certified Krav Maga instructor and black belt, which informs his disciplined, mentoring leadership style.
