Top SchoolPedro Catalão is a hands-on Chief Technology Officer and founder with over a decade of experience architecting scalable, high-performance platforms and integrations from Portugal. He leads product and technical strategy at Fluxygen while still coding and designing systems end-to-end, bridging no-code UX with cloud-native backends. His career ranges from mission-critical public information systems at Thales to health-metrics microservices at Philips and entrepreneurial software delivery across transportation, media and logistics. As founder of Ownedge and earlier startups, he translates business needs into practical, auditable solutions and has deep expertise in DevOps, Java and Ruby-on-Rails ecosystems. Pedro combines strategic technology selection with operational ownership—setting architectures that enable seamless growth—and often surfaces optimizations others miss in performance and integration flows. Fluent in both engineering and business management, he brings an unusual mix of product intuition, hands-on coding, and long-term infrastructure thinking.
