Top SchoolPete Butler is a Principal Software Architect with 14 years building developer tooling, front-end platforms, and DevOps transformations at enterprises like GE Digital and GE Global Research. He specializes in removing friction from the development lifecycle—teaching teams how to build, test, and deploy reliably while leading large-scale DevOps modernization across a dozen projects and hundreds of engineers. A pragmatic front-end veteran from early social networking and media platforms through modern Angular stacks, he repeatedly wins stakeholder trust by rapidly prototyping working software. Pete combines hands-on engineering with mentorship and organizational coaching, believing that empowered teams are the secret ingredient in great products. Based in California with a BA in History from UC San Diego, he brings a long track record of translating messy legacy systems into maintainable, production-ready tools.
