Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolPeter Buckner is a seasoned CTO and founder with over a decade of hands-on experience designing and operating large, distributed software systems from startup to enterprise scale. He excels at rapidly diagnosing messy engineering problems as a "smokejumper," simplifying complex architectures into pragmatic, auditable solutions and then either stabilizing teams or handing off cleanly. His work spans multi-tenant web platforms, CI/CD and deployment automation, multi-language integrations, and embedded analytics—examples include leading TrustedPeer’s secure expert-network platform and building AvnWx.com to deliver over a million pilot weather briefings. Comfortable both in the boardroom and the command line, he combines product-minded engineering with public speaking and training in niche domains like aviation. A Stanford MS in Computer Science and long track record growing and rescuing distributed teams underscore his blend of technical depth and operational leadership.
