Top SchoolPeter Martinson is a data engineer with a decade of experience building analytics pipelines and translating messy clinical and commercial data into actionable insights across healthcare and finance. He currently supports organ transplant analytics at Penn Medicine and builds data platforms at Davidson Kempner, pairing deep SQL and Python expertise with Power BI and ETL know-how. Past roles span data science at Comcast—where he identified large e-commerce recovery opportunities—to BI work that merged free-text clinical notes into structured datasets for predictive models. A former geoscience researcher and longtime tutor in advanced math, he brings a methodical, experimental mindset and a knack for explaining complex quantitative concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. Outside work he’s actively expanding his programming repertoire and balances technical rigor with creative problem-solving learned from both field geology and teaching.
