Top SchoolPhil Mok is a Senior Software Engineer and team lead based in Austin with a decade of experience building consumer and enterprise web and mobile apps using React, React Native, Node/Express, and Ruby on Rails. He joined Native Frame as the first front-end hire, scaled a cross-functional engineering team, and leads sprint planning and product-driven MVP decisions. His background blends product ownership and technical delivery—from founding Sit Start Pros (a crowdsourced fantasy app that reached 1,800 users) to shipping Medicare enrollment and provider tools at Bright Health. Phil is a lifelong learner who formalized his engineering skills at Hack Reactor and continues to iterate on personal React Native projects in the App Store, including a Drake Equation calculator and a gym partner finder. Comfortable bridging design, PM, and engineering, he thrives on turning ambiguous problems into pragmatic, testable features. His mix of startup founding experience, editorial work on community-driven products, and hands-on mobile releases gives him a rare combo of product intuition and execution focus.
