Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolPhilip Bain is a versatile web developer with a decade of professional experience and four years focused on modern JavaScript ecosystems, currently building Ethereum applications at MakerDAO using Web3 and React. He brings full-stack expertise—from C# .NET and TDD workflows on large SaaS products to Node.js APIs, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, and Linux/Nginx dev-ops—and has shipped production features via Jenkins CI/CD. Philip pairs hands-on engineering with team leadership experience as a pair lead on Agile teams and a history of operational ownership from university IT to production server deployments. He has a practical interest in smart contracts and the EVM, learned in part through EthDenver participation, and combines that curiosity with a disciplined testing mindset. Outside work he’s an avid outdoorsman and traveler, which he credits for a pragmatic, resilient approach to problem solving.
