Top SchoolPhilip Caleja is a Software Engineering Lead with 11 years of experience who blends front-end craftsmanship, design sensibility, and a data-driven mindset to deliver business-aligned web experiences. Based in Jersey City, he specializes in HTML, SCSS, JavaScript and Vue.js (with React familiarity), and champions JAMstack approaches for performant, maintainable sites. He has a track record of cutting technical debt and costs—sunsetting legacy systems, building micro-frontends and in-house booking engines that dramatically reduced vendor spend—and improving accessibility and testing practices. Comfortable across the stack, he also brings PHP, Node.js and SQL experience and has led migrations to modern workflows including Git, Docker, Kubernetes and E2E testing. Colleagues rely on him for practical solutions that increase productivity, whether building internal tools, integrating third-party software, or creating reusable UI libraries.
