Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolPhilipp Kraus is a Software System Architect with 11 years of experience designing cloud-native, industrial-grade systems and large-scale data platforms from research to production. He architects and builds resilient, maintainable MES and Big Data solutions that operate on-premises, air-gapped, and in the cloud, blending service-oriented design with strong operational safety and traceability. His background spans AI/ML, multi-agent simulations, and compiler/runtime work from a PhD environment, enabling him to integrate targeted intelligence—forecasting, optimization and decision support—into operational systems rather than applying ML as an isolated feature. Philipp has led cross-functional teams and defined CI/CD, IaC and deployment strategies across diverse stacks (Java, Go, Python, C#, Kubernetes, Postgres/PostGIS, Hadoop/Spark). He is comfortable moving cloud principles into constrained industrial contexts and has hands-on experience with maritime sensor data, GIS, and high-throughput analytics. Based in Neu-Ulm, Bavaria, he combines rigorous academic training in theoretical computer science with practical product delivery and a pragmatic emphasis on robustness and operational longevity.
