Top SchoolPhilipp Marmet is a Linux System Engineer based in Bern with 12 years of hands-on experience building and operating reliable infrastructure across cloud and virtualization environments. He has a strong command of Linux administration, Bash automation, SSH security and SQL, and has progressed from an apprentice at Adfinis to DevOps roles and now system engineering at SBB CFF FFS. Comfortable in both consultancy and in-house settings, he’s delivered operational tooling and platform work for Swiss enterprises while maintaining a practical, security-minded approach. Trained at gibb Berufsfachschule Bern, he combines solid vocational education with a decade-plus of production experience—often bridging day-to-day ops with automation that reduces toil. Notably, his career shows steady in-place growth within Swiss infrastructure teams, reflecting reliability as much as technical depth.
