Senior🎓
Top SchoolPhilippe L'heureux is a Principal software engineer with 15 years of experience designing and shipping resilient, distributed systems across startups and scale-ups. Skilled in Scala, Java, Go and a wide polyglot stack, he has led migrations from monoliths to microservices and run large Docker/Mesos deployments while building backend services for audio processing, notifications, fingerprinting and SSO. As a former CTO and co‑founder he pairs hands‑on engineering with product and project leadership, having delivered real‑time social monitoring and crowdsourced media platforms. Comfortable across OSes from NixOS to SmartOS and tools from Emacs to IntelliJ, he favors pragmatic architectures (Akka, Play, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, ElasticSearch) that enable frequent releases. He brings a mix of systems-level curiosity—evident in his use of less-common stacks like Haskell and Illumos—and production-first discipline to fast-moving teams.
