Top SchoolPi Lanningham is a pragmatic CTO and technical leader with 17 years of software experience and a track record of guiding engineering teams to deliver stable, maintainable, and secure systems. Currently leading technology at SundaeSwap Labs after senior roles at Lifion by ADP and Attentive, he excels at high-level architecture and designing how complex system components interlock. He pairs a strong emphasis on code quality and developer processes with hands-on mentorship, having led teams of ~20 and shaped delivery practices that measurably improved performance and reliability. With a master’s in mathematics from NYU focusing on topology and a thesis on persistent homology, he brings uncommon theoretical depth to practical problems in data analysis and ML. He’s comfortable balancing “the right way” engineering with real-world schedule constraints, and has entrepreneurial experience co-founding a news-aggregation startup that tackled scale and heterogeneous data sources. Based in the NYC metro area, Pi combines rigorous mathematical thinking with production-proven engineering and leadership.
