Senior🎓
Top SchoolPiotr Kicki is a robotics and AI researcher with nine years of experience specializing in motion and path planning for mobile robots and perception of deformable objects using machine learning. Currently a postdoctoral researcher at IDEAS Research Institute and a long-standing researcher at Poznan University of Technology, he has contributed to H2020 and national LIDER projects bridging motion planning, manipulation and ML-driven perception. His background spans applied research and engineering roles, including ML/NLP work at Samsung R&D and software development for security and web teams, giving him a practical systems perspective. Piotr pairs a PhD in Robotics with hands-on experience implementing algorithms for real-world robotic systems, and often focuses on bringing perception pipelines into motion-planning loops — a less obvious but recurring thread across his work.
