Top SchoolPomin Wu is a Senior Anti-Abuse Engineer based in Taipei with 14 years of experience blending formal math, machine learning, and software engineering to tackle misuse and trust issues in online systems. With a PhD in Mathematics and a track record as Cofounder & Chief Scientific Officer at TrustableAI, he translates algorithmic fairness research into practical tooling for model validation. At Proton he focuses on anti-abuse at scale, while sustaining a long-term civic tech commitment as a core g0v contributor shaping open-government tooling across Asia-Pacific. His technical fluency spans Haskell, Python, and ML, plus hands-on product and architecture roles from startups to NGOs. A science-fiction aficionado who jokes he’s “a Vulcan who speaks Klingon,” he brings a rare mix of rigorous theory, hacker ethos, and civic-minded entrepreneurship to building trustworthy systems.
