Senior🎓
Top SchoolPooria Babaei is a software engineer with 8 years of hands-on experience building full-stack applications, backend services, and data-driven research tools. He blends applied research—having completed an MS thesis on dark patterns and developed A/B testing and analytics pipelines—with startup experience as founder of a Telegram-based market data product and roles delivering gamified e-commerce and indoor positioning systems. Proficient in Python, React, Express.js and MongoDB, he moves fluidly between prototyping, production engineering, and statistical evaluation to close the loop from data to product. Now based in Vancouver and currently at Ardor Fitness, he brings a user-focused engineering approach informed by empirical studies of persuasive design—an unusual mix that helps him design ethically aware, measurable features.
