Top SchoolPope Kim is a veteran technology leader and CEO with over two decades of hands-on engineering and executive experience, notable for building global teams that sustained zero voluntary attrition while scaling company value dramatically. He began as a rendering engineer shipping AAA titles across virtually every console since 2000 and progressed to senior graphics roles at studios like Relic, EA and Capcom before transitioning to technical leadership and startups. As CTO of Gluwa he led product, architecture and operations, directly managing the majority of the workforce and driving exponential business growth. He now runs POCU and Aporime Technologies, focusing on next-generation computer science education and institutional systems to produce top software engineers. Known for a leadership style that blends rigorous delivery with individual mentorship, he uses open communication, fair rewards, and tailored work environments to cultivate high-performing teams. An unusual credential pairing—a Master’s in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Laws—reflects his ability to navigate both technical complexity and organizational/legal realities.
