Summary
👤
SeniorPradeep Nagaraju is a Distributed Systems Engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable messaging, storage, and search infrastructure from San Francisco. At Splunk he contributes to Apache Pulsar and BookKeeper while architecting distributed KV stores with Raft, a DSL for industrial asset intelligence, and end-to-end SaaS logging and orchestration platforms. His background spans wireless ML at Qualcomm, SDR research on ad-hoc routing and ionospheric characterization, and early Java middleware work—giving him a rare blend of systems, networking, and language-engineering expertise. He pairs hands-on implementation of consensus and storage layers with practical product impact, such as auto-scaling storage and distributed search optimizations for big data. An entrepreneurially minded technologist, he also invests in startups and previously founded a robotics club that commercialized modular developer kits. Colleagues rely on him for tough distributed-systems problems that bridge research-grade algorithms and production reliability.
