Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolPrashant Nirgun is a seasoned full-stack software engineer and entrepreneur with over two decades leading The Software Source and 11 years of recent hands-on development across web and mobile stacks. He blends low-level C/FoxPro heritage with modern JavaScript ecosystems (Vue 2/3, Nuxt, Electron) and server-side Node tooling, plus experience in Python, PHP and mobile frameworks like NativeScript and Flutter. Comfortable across databases from FoxPro and Sybase to PostgreSQL and MongoDB, he routinely integrates payment gateways and builds APIs with Sequelize, feathers.js and Express. Based in Mumbai, he consults for startups and property tech clients, translating legacy systems into contemporary architectures. Not obvious from job titles: he still edits in Vim and maintains fluency across DOS/Windows/Linux environments, which informs pragmatic, backwards-compatible engineering decisions. His profile reflects an owner-developer mindset—balancing business leadership with deep, cross-stack implementation experience.
