Senior🎓
Top SchoolPrateek Bokade is a seasoned software engineer with 12 years of experience building scalable, resilient backend systems and consumer-facing web applications from Bengaluru. He has led major re-architecture efforts at Hotstar—decoupling monoliths, implementing state machines for subscriptions/payments, and adding caching and CDC pipelines—and now applies that systems-first approach at Uber. Comfortable across Java, Spring Boot, AWS, MySQL, Python and front-end tech like React/Angular, he blends API and data engineering with practical front-end instincts. His background includes production experience at Amazon and JPMorgan Chase, giving him a strong foundation in large-scale, reliability-focused engineering. Known to favor pragmatic solutions over absolutes (“things aren't always #000 and #FFF”), he brings both deep technical craft and a product-oriented mindset to complex problems.
