Senior🎓
Top SchoolPrateek Shrivastava is a supply chain and sourcing leader with 9 years’ experience driving steel procurement, localisation and cost-reduction programs at Maruti Suzuki and operational project delivery at Hindustan Zinc. He combines mechanical engineering roots from NIT Bhopal with an MBA-in-progress from MDI Gurgaon to bridge technical product development (grade and galvannealed steel innovations) with strategic sourcing and EPR compliance. Notable wins include extending shelf life of bake-hardened steel for export, developing local galvannealed grades to improve panel quality and reduce cost, and leading derisking and alternate-source projects across flat and round steel. Comfortable with analytics and visualization (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel), he blends market price forecasting and vendor consolidation with hands-on production engineering to accelerate approvals and cut procurement spend. Pragmatic and data-driven, he often drives cross-functional change by translating field-level production constraints into sourcing strategies that scale.
