Top SchoolPreetpal Kaur is a Generative AI Engineer and founder of DocVerge with eight years of experience blending technical writing, developer-focused documentation, and applied AI to improve product adoption and reduce support friction. She builds user-centric API docs, onboarding flows, and AI/ML whitepapers while also implementing generative AI tooling and prompt engineering to automate content workflows and boost team productivity. Her background in computer science, open-source contributions to the Haiku OS (notably unifying input preferences and improving UI for pointing devices), and mentoring roles in Outreachy and GSoC reflect a rare mix of hands-on C++ systems work and polished technical communication. Preetpal’s work is data-informed—she has driven measurable SEO and adoption gains at Gumlet—and she pairs tool fluency (Confluence, Notion, Swagger, Figma) with a focus on accessibility, compliance, and ethical AI practices.
