Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolProsper Opara is a Senior Software Engineer based in Lagos with eight years of experience building cloud-native, fintech and logistics applications using JavaScript (React, Node) and modern microservice patterns. He has progressed from technical lead and CTO roles to senior engineering positions where he designs APIs, manages CI/CD, reduces latency with caching, and leads rapid payment-provider integrations under pressure. Prosper mentors junior engineers, contributes to product architecture, and pairs hands-on coding with clear technical documentation and API design (OpenAPI/Swagger). Notably, he combines practical startup experience—delivering MVPs and merchant dashboards—with a background in geoinformatics, giving him an unusual spatial-analytical perspective on system design.
