Top SchoolQasim Iqbal is an Application Development Specialist with 12 years of hands-on experience turning messy data into production-grade software, currently building Azure-based automation at Nestlé that digitizes thousands of invoices weekly. He combines a strong data-science toolkit (Python, scikit-learn/TensorFlow, Databricks/SQL) with cloud and DevOps practices (Azure Document Intelligence, Docker, CI/CD) to deliver chatbots, web-scraping pipelines, and high-accuracy predictive models. Past roles include R&D work at Durham College and MPAC where he shipped time-series energy forecasts and property valuation models with ~85% accuracy and reduced support load via AI chatbots. Comfortable across the stack, Qasim bridges research and product delivery—designing scalable applications that move from prototype to production. He holds a BASc in Computer Science and Azure/Generative AI certifications, and is continually exploring applied research and automation techniques to solve real business problems.
