Top SchoolQuinn Vissak is a senior software engineer with eight years of experience building high-scale backend systems, currently at AWS where he designs metering pipelines for EC2 and led full continuous-delivery initiatives. He has repeatedly improved availability and reduced cost at massive scale, supporting growth from ~1.3B to 2.4B requests/sec and enabling petabyte+ monthly data processing. Prior roles at Capital One, WillowTree, and UConn show a breadth across cloud services, microservices, Lua/Nginx, Python, Java, and CI/CD automation. Quinn pairs hands-on implementation with mentorship and organizational impact—starting a buddy program, earning top execution awards, and driving on-call reliability. He writes about technology on Medium and enjoys treating every code change as an architectural decision that should improve the system. Based in Nashville, he blends product-focused engineering with a track record of shipping robust, cost-conscious services for global customers.
