Top SchoolRafael Santos is a seasoned Software Engineer with 13 years of web development experience and a strong focus on Ruby on Rails for the past decade. He has shipped APIs and backend systems across startups and established companies, currently contributing to Envato after five years at Flippa. Rafael is passionate about clean, well-tested code—favoring RSpec contexts and FactoryGirl over fixtures—and enjoys leveraging Ruby’s metaprogramming to build DSLs and elegant abstractions. His background spans high-throughput communications APIs for payment and vending systems, scalable Heroku deployments, and hands-on work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and cloud storage.
