Senior🎓
Top SchoolRaphael Lacerda is an experienced IT analyst and software engineer with 14 years building cloud-native, test-driven systems and teaching others to do the same. He has driven migrations to Kubernetes, GitOps CI/CD, and SSO architectures at large Brazilian institutions, pairing hands-on backend work (Java, Node, FastAPI) with platform orchestration (Argo, Vault, Helm). A longtime instructor—teaching from JVM internals to data engineering—he translates complex misconceptions into practical learning, which underpins his roles at Alura, Estratégia Concursos and as a university professor. At ABIN and Banco do Brasil he established patterns for microservices, observability and automated quality gates that improved deployment reliability. Now serving in the Senado Federal while continuing education and instructor work, he balances public-sector impact with continuous learning (MBAs and Big Data studies). Colleagues know him as the engineer who obsessively evangelizes test-first practices and developer ergonomics to make others’ lives easier.
