Riku Särkinen
Founding Engineer at Adbar
Bristol, England, United Kingdom
Summary
👤
SeniorRiku Särkinen is a founding engineer and entrepreneur with two decades of experience blending full‑stack software development and graphic design into commercially minded products. Currently building Yareta’s science‑backed, AI talent‑forecasting platform, he brings hands‑on expertise in React Native, Laravel, Vue, Web3 and secure mobile systems from prior roles at Tapmydata, Simpleweb and SportsIcon. As founder of Adbar since 2003 he pairs product intuition with execution, shipping user‑centric interfaces and end‑to‑end encrypted apps. He moves fluidly between design and backend engineering, shaping both visual UX and robust architectures. Based in Bristol, he’s motivated by AI‑driven scientific products and maintains a long‑running entrepreneurial streak that predates his nine years of formal industry experience. Notably, he balances deep technical work with creative pursuits—grinding code and graphics (and a fondness for pizza) while shaping novel talent‑assessment tools.
