Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolRoar Skinderviken is a senior full-stack software developer based in Oslo with over 20 years of experience delivering end-to-end web applications and services. He combines deep backend expertise in Java, Kotlin and C# with modern cloud-native practices—Micronaut, Spring Boot, Kubernetes and GCP/AWS—while also shipping polished front-end work in Vue.js and TypeScript. Comfortable as both lead developer and hands-on contributor, he has driven projects for public sector clients (e.g., SSB, Barnevernsregister at NAV) and refactored large legacy systems into maintainable platforms. He emphasizes code quality, automated CI/CD and rigorous testing (Kotest, Spock) to turn complex requirements into auditable, production-ready solutions. A pragmatic polyglot, he often bridges data, infrastructure and application concerns—recently integrating GCP services like Pub/Sub, Secret Manager and BigQuery into scalable pipelines.
