Top SchoolRob Markovic is a Fractional CTO and strategic technology advisor with two decades of experience architecting cloud and infrastructure transformations for enterprises and growth-stage companies. He's delivered measurable impact—cutting infrastructure costs by up to 80%, achieving SOC 2 Type II readiness in under nine months, and guiding PE-backed due diligence for deals totaling tens of millions. His background spans IBM, VMware, VCE, NASA, and Google, where he led converged infrastructure, exabyte-scale storage, and secure federal networks, and he translates complex architectures into actionable executive decisions. Rob pairs hands-on platform design (AWS, VMware, OpenStack, blockchain) with engineering culture building and board-level communication, and he’s contributed to the Open Compute Project and BayLISA leadership. Beyond tech, he’s passionate about early education equity and designs systems with an eye toward real-world social impact.
