Senior🎓
Top SchoolRobert Cannon is a seasoned cloud engineering leader with over three decades of hands-on software and infrastructure experience and a decade focused on cloud-native operations. As Senior Director of Cloud Engineering & Operations, he builds high-performing teams and designs GitOps-driven platforms (EKS, ArgoCD, Istio, Pulumi) that balance developer velocity with rigorous security and auditability. He has led large-scale cloud migrations and compliance efforts at enterprises like Equifax and WarnerMedia, delivering cost models, SOC 2/FedRAMP-aligned architectures, and automation that turned multi-day deployments into sub-hour operations. Known as the go-to technical problem solver, he combines deep engineering credibility with customer-first service and a knack for removing bureaucratic blockers. An early adopter of infrastructure automation, he has repeatedly reduced operational risk through reproducible pipelines, internal container catalogs, and developer shells that accelerate onboarding. Based in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, he pairs a strong academic foundation (CS, high honors) with a track record of rescuing critical production environments and saving millions through pragmatic technical strategy.
