Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolRoberto Calero is a software engineer based in Seville with about a decade of experience building on GNU/Linux and open source technologies. During university he combined theoretical study with hands-on contributions, joining the SUGUS free software association and completing Google Summer of Code in 2016 with Netfilter. His work on iptables and nftables—particularly on instruction translation for iptables-translate—reflects a strong interest in low-level networking and tooling. Comfortable across system-level code and open-source collaboration, he favors free software stacks in both work and development environments. Colleagues would also note his playful side—"snake charmer, crustacean wannabe"—which hints at a curious, persistent approach to problem solving.
