Rocio Paez is a bilingual web programmer and procurement leader with 11 years’ experience combining Ruby and front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with deep expertise in purchasing, import logistics and retail operations for technology products. She has led procurement and logistics teams across Apple retail and tech vendors, delivering measurable savings (e.g., 25% at Epic Labs) and optimizing import and credit processes. Currently developing a migraine-tracking app through Rails Girls Summer of Code, she applies product thinking and data-driven design to health-focused software informed by her own experience with migraines. Known for strong negotiation and people-management abilities, she also manages administrative and process-improvement functions end-to-end. Comfortable with macOS/iOS ecosystems and advanced Microsoft Office workflows, she seeks new business and product opportunities that bridge operations and lightweight web development.
