Top SchoolRoger Coram is a Principal Data Engineer based in Leeds with 12 years of experience building data platforms and leading engineering teams across consultancy and product environments. He has progressed from hands-on roles such as Web Crawl Engineer to senior management and principal-level positions, most recently shaping data strategy at Dotdigital after leadership stints at Hippo and The Data Shed. Roger combines practical engineering chops with people leadership—translating messy data estates into pragmatic, value-led solutions—and has a track record of demystifying data for organisations of varying sizes. A University of Manchester computer science graduate, he brings deep UK public- and private-sector experience and an engineer’s affinity for clean, consumable data (and reportedly good coffee).
