Top SchoolRoger Perkin is a Senior Network Automation and NetDevOps engineer with nine years of focused experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade network automation across data center, cloud and global enterprise environments. A CCIE (#50038) and Python-first developer, he architects robust automation workflows using NetBox, Ansible/AWX, Nornir, Terraform and Jinja2 to turn network infrastructure into reliable infrastructure-as-code. He has led NetBox adoption and data model design at scale, driving operational efficiency and repeatable provisioning across multinational organisations including Haleon, Maersk and CityFibre. Comfortable both as an architect and hands-on implementer, Roger blends deep routing and switching expertise (BGP/OSPF, SD‑WAN, EVPN) with pragmatic DevOps practices to reduce errors and accelerate deployments. Colleagues rely on him to translate network complexity into maintainable automation, and he’s known for pushing open-source tooling to solve real-world operational gaps. Based in London, he pairs a hardware-first networking pedigree with modern software practices to modernise and automate legacy estates.
