Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolRostislav Teryaev is a software engineer based in Amsterdam with nine years of experience building and improving backend systems, primarily in Go. At Wildberries he modernized financial APIs, reduced technical debt, standardized service architecture with a reusable template, and owned ops responsibilities, while also training interns in clean, idiomatic Go. His background in electrical engineering and research (Moscow Power Engineering Institute and LUT University) informs a methodical, model-driven approach to systems design and performance. He’s comfortable across the full stack of service development and deployment, from SQL-heavy testing to automated MATLAB/Simulink workflows. Besides day-to-day engineering, he creates internal teaching materials and courses, demonstrating a knack for turning complex domain knowledge into practical developer onboarding. Check his website for a CV and additional details on projects and contributions.
