Senior🎓
Top SchoolRubén Pérez is a software engineer with 10 years of experience based in Barcelona, specializing in distributed systems, backend architecture and software craftsmanship. He currently helps lead Adevinta Spain’s migration from a legacy monolith to microservices while promoting developer practices that improve code quality and team craft. His background includes secure, privacy-preserving systems—implementing advanced e-voting protocols (ElGamal, mix-nets) for national elections—and payment platform API and biometric authentication work. Comfortable across architecture, API design and hands-on backend implementation, he brings a security- and auditability-first mindset to complex, regulated domains. Rubén pairs steady delivery with continuous learning and knowledge sharing, driving both technical change and cultural adoption. Notably, his early PKI and digital signature work underpins a career-long focus on trustworthy, auditable systems.
