Senior🎓
Top SchoolRubens Bueno is a Senior Staff Software Engineer based in São Paulo with 12 years of experience building large-scale data platforms and backend systems. He has led data platform transformations for AdTech, gaming, and digital marketing companies, architecting agnostic, self-service infrastructures that handle multi-terabyte ingest and multi-petabyte processing per day using Kafka, Spark, Presto/Athena, Airflow and governance tools. Comfortable moving between hands-on backend development (Ruby/Python) and systems-level data engineering, he repeatedly converts monolithic ETL setups into scalable, real-time pipelines and metadata-driven platforms. Known for bridging product needs and engineering discipline, Rubens emphasizes data governance and operational resilience—an often overlooked but critical part of production-grade analytics.
