Senior🎓
Top SchoolRussell Quinn is an interdisciplinary technologist, artist, and designer with 16 years’ experience building narrative-driven digital products, from low-level game-console tools at Sony to Webby-winning interactive novels and the first subscription-based iPhone app in publishing. As founder/technical director of agencies in Europe and later McSweeney’s Digital Media Director, he launched e-book strategies, relaunched flagship sites and stores, and shipped innovative story-apps through ventures like Sudden Oak and False Vacuum. Now based in Los Angeles, he produces narrative games (currently Linda & Joan) while training as a Marriage and Family Therapist, bringing a rare blend of technical craft, storytelling sensibility, and clinical grounding. He’s consulted for clients across media—CBS Eye Animation, Miranda July, Gimlet, Chris Ware—and his work has been recognized by Sundance, SXSW, Wired, Time, and the BBC. A practiced polyglot between code, design, and narrative, Russell often turns personal crisis into creative platforms that explore lived experience in playful, engineered forms.
