Top SchoolRyan Freckleton is a staff software engineer based in Colorado Springs with over a decade of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating full-stack systems across analytics, streaming, and web platforms. He has led engineering teams and projects at Pluralsight, GitPrime, and King Energy, delivering high-performance data pipelines, real-time metrics, and integrations under tight schedules using technologies like Kafka, CDC, and Monte Carlo forecasting. Comfortable in both startup and enterprise environments, he combines deep technical craftsmanship (Python, Java, Django, Flask) with product-minded ownership, having built a custom CMS and long-running web properties. Ryan’s background in applied mathematics and computer engineering (3.9 GPA) informs a data-driven approach to testing and reliability, including introducing property-based testing and parallelized processing in production. He also brings experience in teaching, cybersecurity challenges, and legacy system analysis, which helps him translate complex technical debt into pragmatic roadmaps. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic architecture, clear client-facing communication, and shipping resilient end-user experiences.
