Top SchoolRyan Nixon is a Senior Developer Productivity Engineer with 11 years of experience building and automating cloud-native platforms, currently focused on developer tooling and CI/CD at HashiCorp. He combines deep hands-on skills in Docker, Terraform, Go, and GitOps/ChatOps pipelines with a pragmatic emphasis on standards-compliant, maintainable code. At Vacasa he led migrations from Docker Swarm to AWS EKS, introduced Terraform-based account and IAM provisioning, and drove container-first local development and robust observability practices. Comfortable across languages and eras—from PHP monoliths to Go microservices—he repeatedly turns legacy systems into scalable, automated platforms. Based in Portland, he pairs platform evangelism with practical developer UX improvements, including an in-house CLI that evolved across multiple languages.
