Senior🎓
Top SchoolRyan Pang is a Senior Software Engineer based in Auckland with over a decade building and modernizing Java-based systems across finance, insurance, and mobile payments. He combines deep JVM-era experience (since 2005) with modern cloud-native and DevOps practices—container orchestration, GitOps, Vault, Ansible/Puppet migrations, and Azure DevOps pipelines—to accelerate releases and harden automation. At ASB he modernized AEM with React/TypeScript and led infrastructure changes that materially increased release frequency and reduced vulnerabilities, and as a freelancer he prototyped edge-friendly K3s deployments and AI experiments using MindsDB. Comfortable across full stack, CI/CD, and cross-OS environments, he also mentors engineers and has a track record of cutting onboarding time and improving operational reliability. His background spans enterprise migrations, secure secrets management, and pragmatic front-end translations from Figma to production, reflecting a practitioner who moves between strategy and hands-on delivery.
