👤
SeniorSagar Chalise is a software engineering manager with 11 years of experience architecting cloud-native applications and leading engineering teams from Kathmandu, Nepal. He combines deep Python and GNU/Linux expertise with hands-on experience in AWS, FastAPI, Django, and modern front-end stacks like Next.js/React to deliver mobile and web platforms for impact-focused organizations. At Build Change he guides application architecture, infrastructure and security planning while exploring practical cloud and AI integrations; prior roles include principal engineering work on fintech and US healthcare data pipelines. Comfortable both in code and in leadership, he has a track record of building resilient APIs, data workflows (Airflow) and RDBMS-backed services across startups and consultancies. Colleagues value him for taking initiative, mentoring engineers, and tackling infrastructure/security tradeoffs rather than just shipping features.
