Top SchoolSaif Almaliki is a Senior Digital Manufacturing Architect with eight years of hands-on experience architecting Industry 4.0 solutions that bridge PLC/SCADA systems, IIoT connectivity, and cloud/edge platforms. He has delivered measurable operational gains—cost, bandwidth and latency reductions—by embedding intelligence at the edge and modernizing communications with OPC UA, MQTT and AMQP while maintaining industrial-grade cybersecurity. At PwC and Covestro he led end-to-end IoT programs, from proposal and Agile delivery to data lake design and edge-based ML for anomaly detection, translating shopfloor constraints into scalable cloud architectures. A Master’s-trained computer engineer specializing in IoT, AI and smart manufacturing, he combines vendor certifications across cloud and PLC ecosystems with prior industrial automation leadership in oil & gas and water treatment. Based in Duisburg, Germany, Saif’s uncommon strength is marrying deep control-system programming with cloud-native patterns to produce pragmatic, production-ready solutions that reduce operational risk.
